The Nautilus GT Kit by Aspire is a stunning collaboration with Taifun.
The Glint Mod by Aspire is great round external 18650 mod that fits perfectly in the hand. The battery is insert positive up from the bottom swivel door. The innovation of the swivel door makes it very secure for butterfingers and the battery flying out of the mod. If dropped (try not to), the battery is still in the mod. Make sure to check the battery after a drop-shock to make sure it hasn't dented!
Although the Glint Mod supports 75 watts, the Nautilus GT Tank that comes with the kit won't ever need to exceed 25 watts - which means heaps of battery life. However, if you wish to slap a different tank or rebuildable on top, the lowest resistance that can be powered on the Glint Mod is 0.3Ω.
The Pros and Cons of the Glint Mod
Round Shape (Comfortable in Hand)
|Not suitable for sub-ohm vaping lower than 0.3Ω
The Nautilus GT Tank by Aspire holds 3mL of e-liquid which is plenty when you're running low wattages. However, if that's not enough juice because you're filling too much, an additional 4.2mL extension tube replaces the metal sleeve and glass.
The tank is sectioned into 5 pieces (from top to bottom):
- 510 Drip Tip Size
- Removable Top-Filling Cap (match the two dots and pull off)
- Metal Sleeve
- Glass Piece
- Extension Tube (replaces Metal Sleeve and Glass Piece)
- Nautilus Coil
- Base with 5 Air Flow Control Ring Settings and 510 Connector
When cleaning the tank, everything except for the Coil can be submerged underwater. Separate every piece of the tank and clean with hot water only.
The Pros and Cons of the Nautilus GT
|Occasionally de-pressurising from the top cap to wick the coil
Overall, using the tank with a 50/50 VG/PG ratio e-liquid with the Nautilus Coils will be a superior experience through this kit without having to fiddle around with the pressurisation of the e-liquid flow.
This is a great at-desk or studying vaping experience.
